The cousins I grew up with...

Hey hey hey! It's been a long time since I blogged and to be honest I miss it so here I am ;) And today I'm going to introduce the cousins I grew up with and who was close to me in my childhood days. Although I don't really have pictures of us when we were still young because they're all in the Philippines. So I'll show you present pictures. And this is not been placed in order so whoever I talk about first doesn't mean I'm closest to him/her. Don't get me wrong, I love all my cousins, but this post is about the people I grew up with and spent more time with.

Meet Nathalie R. Colina

Me and Nat used to live under the same roof in the Philippines, because when my parents went off to work in London me and my sister was looked after Nat's parents. And we used to play a lot of pretend family and we enjoyed it so much that it was mostly everyday that we played it and we never got bored of it. As a child she was very shy, not so talkative, always was in her own little world and would not talk to you unless it's about something important. Even if she was with her friends she would just smile and not talk a lot that's why I was surprised when I saw her again after a long time and she was a teenager she totally changed and she's more upfront and talkative and she isn't shy anymore. If she has something on her mind that bothers her she would say it out loud, without caring much about who she hurts. What I love about her is that she is really honest and kind.

Memory : Her family, my sister and me was about to get on the ship. And they charge ticket fare's for children under 6 years old and she was small anyway so my aunt told her 'If the man asks for your age, tell him your 5 years old.' And she didn't hesitate at that time and agreed but when we got to the ticket place she was asked the question 'Hey little one, how old are you?' and she paused.... and said 'I am 7 years old'. Haha she could not lie, as you know "CHILDREN ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH". But until now at her age, she still can't lie. Not to her friends and especially to her family.

She is very talented, she can sing, she plays the piano, she plays the guitar too and she dances really well.

When she joined a beauty contest. And she won 1st runner up.

Meet Maria Katrina Lessandra Rasay

It took a lot of persuasiveness from her mum for her to go to this event where she just had to walk the walk.
She is a year older than me and as kids we always have endless physical fights haha. Everytime I visited their house we would end up in an argument and we start fighting and a she was a lot taller than me (she still is a lot taller than me lol) I always just used to get beaten up cos I was small but I always tried to pick a fight with her. I guess she was my kung fu rival that I could never beat lol. She's a very humble person and lot's of people has asked her to join a beauty contest but she never wanted to because she doesn't like putting herself in front of too many people/strangers. She has a lot of potential but she decides not to use it for beauty contests :) When we got to the teenager age we got on really well because she loves make-up and so do I. She also is a party girl ;) and she took me to the best clubbing spots when I went home in the Philippines.

Memory : When hmm, I don't know what age I was I just heard this story from her mum and my mum so many times so when I imagine it I just end up laughin' every-time. I think they said when I was 4 and she was 5.. Me, my mum and my sister lived with them for a couple of months whilst my dad was in another city working. Every time I woke up, I would wait outside her bedroom door so when she wakes up I would pick up a fight with her, but I always end up losing so apparently I kept waiting outside her door every morning to challenge her haha, I was such a loser.

She is very smart and she is studying Nursing as of the moment and she dances well and she sings well too.

When she took me out clubbing in the Philippines.

Meet Ralph Emmanuel Rasay.

Ralph is a year younger than me, he's the same age as my younger sister. Me and Ralph used to play together a lot, from biking, to playing kites, to roller skating, going out and wondering around, to hide & seek. As I was kind of boyish and very active I loved going out and playing, and so did he. I was not girly like my sister, Nathalie and ate Katrina.. so me and Ralph got on really well as kids. I loved playing with his toys such as trucks, helicopters, kites, roller blades, car toys... I really enjoyed them.. oh gosh I was such a boy lol. Anyway he is very honest, humble, and he used to be shy, he still is kinda shy now but he does love going to events. He also does modelling along side studying medicine in university. We used to have a love-hate relationship but now were just cool with each other. And he is very protective over his family especially girls. He is also protective and caring towards his friends.

Memory :  I think I was 13 and he was 12, me and my family went to the Philippines for a holiday... Then one day me and Ralph decided to go out biking and we got to this place that we never knew but we thought it was exciting as it felt like an adventure. All we had to do was to remember the way back home. So we got to this little village and these old drunk men drinking on the side was shouting at me like 'Girl, come here' (of course that was said in Filipino language but I just translated it) And basically Ralph didn't like it and decided to call off the biking adventure and took me home straight away. He wouldn't let me go out of the house without him with me, every time I wanted to go out, he would come with me. Then one time I told him I was just gonna go out for a bit to buy mangoes and it wasn't far from his house anyway. Even though he was studying he still came out to escort me to the mango stand and this guy whistled when we walked past, then the guy stared at me, then Ralph turned around and said 'What you looking at, stop staring.' ahaha he was cool then, I was like aww don't worry about, it's day light and there's people around us. Then on the way home he whispered to me 'That guy is known to be crazy in this town, you can't be too careless.' BLESS HIM! So cute ahaha.

He loves singing, he can play the violin really well, he can also play the piano, he can play the guitar, and he dances hip hop and ball room dances.

Oh & I also forgot to mention that Katrina is his sister.

Meet Jenn Danielle Gargar.

She is a couple months older than me. She used to be called Suwee but we call her 'Babe' now. She lived far  away from all of us and you have to travel a long way to visit their family. And we used to visit her family with all the Gargar's for a get together. I don't quite remember but I think we used to always play in the bath tub together and play pretend mermaids. She adores and cares so much for her pet dogs and she's very loving and kind. She's amazingly very smart and she loves fashion.

Memory : I don't really know whose idea it was but I remember when I was 5 years old someone put on lipstick on me and ate babe and I think my sister was involved in it too and we decided to do a mini fashion show for the parents and we entertained them pretty well haha!

She is an aspiring Doctor and I know she will reach her ambition someday and I'm so proud of her. She is very intelligent and she is actually top in her classes.

Meet Marco Immanuel Mamaat

He is a year younger than me and this guy is hella cheeky haha. His humour just cracks you up lol. He loves texting girls haha, but now that he has a girlfriend I guess he's loyal now. But when I went home to the Philippines and went to stay at their house for a few days, he would not leave his phone because he constantly kept receiving texts from different girls and he was single then... I think haha. Same with Ralph, me and Marco got along really well too because I liked playing boyish things and guilty as we are, we used to make fun of my sister and one time we did cross the line when we tried scaring her and she freaked out and cried, that's when the bullying stopped.

Memory : We went to his uncle's place I think. And we always was together in trips cos we liked playing and being active a lot. And one time we was playing in a room and suddenly we started arguing I think over something really stupid... Then I basically punched his mouth and he punched me back but I didn't get any bruises or anything but I busted his lips and he cried then I cried afterwards as well hahaha! Funny moments :)) and we was so serious about the fight as well but we both ended up crying after sending each other punches.

I love all my cousins equally but these are the cousins that I played with most of the time and had funny moments with. My other cousins were older than me and we didn't bond as much as they were into different things while I was into playing a lot and going out for adventures. I miss all my cousins dearly and  I hope my other cousins won't feel bad that I haven't included them in this because this isn't a favouritism thing, I just simply posted descriptions about the cousins I played with the most and the memories I had with them.
